Why would a doctor and busy mom with children of her own travel halfway around the world to provide medical care for women and their babies? We visited Dr. Africa Stewart—an ob-gyn, board member for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), and mother of three—to find out what inspires her. A passionate advocate for women's health, Dr. Stewart has provided maternal health care in Sudan, South Sudan, and Nigeria.
