MSF teams respond to medical emergencies fast, all over the world. During conflicts, following natural disasters, in response to epidemics, MSF medical teams can deploy quickly and start to work whilst the emergency is still in its acute phase.
We can do this because of our independent funding which means we have the finances we need to start working straight away, because of our emergency logistical set up, which allows us to send the materials we need around the world at short notice, and because we have experienced people ready to respond when an emergency takes place.
