Who are we
Since 1987, MSF has been delivering life-saving medical services in Kenya. In Nairobi’s Eastlands, we focus on supporting survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, providing 24/7 emergency medical response, and offering youth-friendly health and social services.

SGBV Survivors
Services provided at the MSF Lavender House clinic include:
- A toll-free hotline number
- Comprehensive medical and psychosocial services
- Referral to secondary or tertiary MoH/private hospitals for those needing advanced care

Call Center and Ambulance Response
This includes pre-hospital ambulance care and a Trauma Room at MSF’s Lavender House clinic along Juja Road. Activities include:
- 24/7 medical emergency call centre (Toll-free hotline)
- Medicalized ambulances available 24/7 for referrals in Mathare, Huruma, City carton, Kiambiu, Majengo, Kiamaiko and Eastleigh, with possibility of enroute medical resuscitation and stabilization.

Mental Health Consultations
The heath care services focus on sexual and reproductive health (SRH) including family planning services, HIV prevention, counselling and testing with linkage to care, antenatal care, treatment for sexually transmitted infections, care for sexual and genderbased violence survivors, and mental health - psychosocial counselling and referral.
