The deadline to close Kenya’s refugee camps is months away and it's extremely urgent that sustainable solutions are found for refugees.
In Dadaab, Somali refugees who predominantly inhabit the 3 camps, have to either go back to a country where many of them have never lived or remain in Kenya, illegally, without adequate protection.
MSF is calling on the Kenyan government and its international partners need to live up to the commitments made in the 2018 Global Compact on Refugees by allowing Somali refugees to integrate into Kenyan society or to be resettled abroad.
