Since mid-March 2022, MSF team has been supporting county health authorities in Illeret Ward in Marsabit County, Kenya, as they respond to the malnutrition crisis.
MSF response included training health care workers (HCWs), strengthening the medical component of integrated management of acute malnutrition (IMAM), including outreach activities, screening and setting up the ITFC/SC (Inpatient Therapeutic Feeding center/specialised care) services within Illeret Health Center.
