MSF’s proactive efforts to address abusive behaviours

In late 2020, a media investigation revealed multiple accounts of abuse from employees of organisations involved in the response to the 10th outbreak of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). One of the accounts indicated a link to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), prompting us to conduct a full-scale investigation and take action.

MSF in East Darfur: From emergency response to building up essential medical care for refugees and host communities

Since 2017, Sudan’s East Darfur state has hosted tens of thousands of refugees fleeing conflict in South Sudan. For the past five years, teams from international medical organisation Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) have provided refugees and local communities with medical care.
