Displacement orders are “psychological and physical warfare” in Israel's campaign of ethnic cleansing in Gaza
These orders are unpredictable and come with ridiculously short deadlines, putting people in an impossible situation. People receive leaflets, social media posts or a phone call about an imminent attack, leaving them limited time to collect their belongings and seek shelter. The very act of forcing people to repeatedly flee, often in the middle of the night, without having anywhere to go and at risk of their lives, is not only having a physical impact, but causes an immense psychological toll. Dozens of Palestinians massacred at US-Israel backed food distribution sites
Dozens of Palestinians were killed and hundreds more injured today, 1 June, as they waited for food at the newly created Gaza Humanitarian Foundation distribution centres in Rafah and close to the Netzarim Corridor, according to the Ministry of Health. MSF team relocates to Mattar to care for refugees fleeing violence on the South Sudan-Ethiopia border
Over the past weeks, Ethiopia’s Gambella region has been experiencing a dual emergency. More people are becoming infected by an expanding cholera outbreak in Wanthoa Woreda, coupled with the huge influx of refugees arriving because of intense fighting in South Sudan’s Upper Nile and Jonglei states. In the weeks leading up to the displacement, MSF had treated over 1,200 cholera patients and provided more than 3,000 outpatient consultations on the Ethiopian side of Burbeiye. Article - 22 May 2025
